Sadolin Classic Wood Protection was used on this beautiful exterior, ideal for preserving the fascias, timber work and window surrounds to provide exceptional protection against the weather.
Thorough preparation work to render was undertaken, including scraping back loose and flaky paintwork where necessary and applying stabilising solution to the substrate. Gutters were unblocked, repaired and bitumen applied for instant protection/waterproofing.
The Dulux Weathershield system was used to give longer lasting protection for the exterior woodwork open to the elements, as well as three coats of Weathershield Smooth masonry for it’s unique high performance resin which resists flaking and peeling.
Highlighting the beauty of Dulux Weathershield textured masonry paint, this bare render had four coats of Jasmine White to brighten up this beautiful home. To provide a perfect finish, the windows were adorned with Sadolin Extra Durable Woodstain to enhance it’s original Ebony finish and complement the refreshed masonry paintwork.
The old wallpaper was stripped from the walls, then filled and cross lined before hanging a modern Laura Ashley wallpaper. Additional paintwork took place to give a fresh new look to woodwork after thorough preparation. Two undercoats were applied to the woodwork with a nice solid gloss finish throughout. The handrail was finished in walnut to give a complimentary contrast to the balustrades on the staircase handrail.
The task undertook restoration work on a rotten bay window and refurbishment of a selection of old sash windows to the remainder of the property. The task meant removing some wet rot, treating it with wood hardener, and building it back up with two part filler. The paintwork was then finished using the Dulux Weathershield paint system, ensuring the finish was fully weather resistant and flexible in brilliant white.
